Two teams from our Senior Years competed in the BCE STEM MAD competition — the biggest yet, with over 50 schools and 120+ student teams!
Congratulations to The Family Press team, who won 1st place in the Primary category! Their project helps elderly Australians stay connected through a personalised, AI-powered news-sharing system inspired by real family experiences.
The Hug to Heart team created an interactive teddy bear designed to comfort children with Leukemia during long hospital stays, offering remote hugs and emotional support through technology.
We’re incredibly proud of both teams for their creativity, compassion, and innovation!
Thank you to Claire Byrne, our STEM Education Officer, for her passion for science, technology, engineering, and maths. A true inspiration to our staff and students to think creatively, solve real-world problems, and grow as innovators.
